In 2022, we held our first annual Community Initiative Grant process and awarded 14 organizations funding. Through this program, Lane Community Health Council in partnership with PacificSource Community Solutions has invested in upstream solutions that address community needs in multiple areas, and align the Lane County’s 2021 – 2025 Community Health Improvement Plan (CHP) priorities:
- Ensure incomes are sufficient to meet basic costs of living
- Establish community conditions that support behavioral health and physical well-being, and
- Address current and historical injustices that produce disparities.
