Lane County CCO Community Advisory Council Public Comment Process

The Community Advisory Council (CAC) welcomes public input on public health matters that directly impact Oregon Health Plan members. The CAC may ask clarifying questions of the public during the meeting to better understand their feedback. The CAC will not make decisions right away based on public comment. The CAC can consider comments for future discussion and action.

Members of the public need to sign up in advance to give their comments.

  • Speakers will give their comments in the order in which they signed up.
  • Speakers are limited to 3 minutes per comment.
  • Public comment is limited to 12 minutes in total.

The CAC co-chair has the right to shorten the time given to each speaker. The CAC co-chair may also give more time for public comment.

To sign up for public comment, email the following information to Kayla Watford, CAC coordinator, at at least 24 hours prior to the CAC meeting:

  • First and Last Name
  • Pronouns
  • Topic for public comment
  • Brief description of public comment.

The CAC meets every 4th Monday of the month from 12:00-2:00pm. Meeting information can be found here:
