In 2022, we held our first annual Community Initiative Grant process and awarded 14 organizations funding. Through this program, Lane Community Health Council in partnership with PacificSource Community Solutions is investing $1.7 million in upstream solutions that address community needs in the areas of youth behavioral health, the behavioral health workforce, and the Lane County’s 2021 – 2025 Community Health Improvement Plan (CHP) priorities:
- Ensure incomes are sufficient to meet basic costs of living
- Establish community conditions that support behavioral health and physical well-being, and
- Address current and historical injustices that produce disparities.
